details,details,details
July 22, 2008 – 4:52 am
It is hard to believe this was almost one month ago and in that time, Chris and I have shot well over 10,000 images and I am trying to get through all the families, high school seniors, rehearsal dinners, weddings and we even photographed Senator Mccain at the Bush’s home yesterday(more on that later). I am going to post some of the details from Emily and James’s wedding because they were cool! The lobster motif was carried through the day and their candy bar was to die for, which was not surprising since Emily’s parents own the best candy store called Yummies in Kittery, Maine! I will post more from her wedding soon including my favorite church shot ever!
An officer and his bride
July 18, 2008 – 6:07 am
Sarah and Marc had an incredible wedding in York in June! They live in California and had planning help from Sarah’s parents who live in York. The flowers were gorgeous and provided by York Flower Shop, the venue was one of my favorites, York Harbor Reading Room and the event was coordinated by Melanie Bibbo of Blissful Beginnings in New Hampshire. It was very hard to choose just these images as there are so many that I love. Enjoy!
Matt and Molly have some fun
July 15, 2008 – 1:02 am
Matt and Molly will be tying the knot in late September and we were able to hang out with them at the beach a few weeks ago for some fun. It was hard to choose just a few from their photo session because there were so many cute ones. Molly has a background with the traveling circus, she was a professional clown and Matt has been hard at work on the front of our house, he is a mason and specializes in restoring old homes. They are a joy to be around and their wedding is going to be a blast!
Engagement session at York Beach
July 13, 2008 – 6:55 am
I am a bit behind on blogging because we are busy with weddings, engagement sessions and families on the beach right now. I wanted to post these shots of Sarah and Marc having fun on York Beach. I will be posting images from their wedding soon (we took these 3 days before the wedding because they live in California). You can tell by their expressions how in love they are!

Beautiful family in the beach grass
July 5, 2008 – 3:40 am
It seems like every evening we have been having thunderstorms and the night we took this image was no exception. It was raining on the way there and we had 25 minutes of dry air before it started thundering and lightning. I love the beach grass in this image. It was taken on Drakes Island which is part of Wells, Maine. I will post more from this session and some of the others we have done lately later.
Happy Anniversary Ev and Sam
June 29, 2008 – 9:46 am
We photographed Ev and Sam’s wedding last June in York, Maine and Ev was a bridesmaid in her friend Emily’s wedding yesterday. We snapped this photo of Ev and Sam in front of the Stage Neck Inn where they had their reception last year. They are one of the cutest and funnest couples we have ever met and we are so glad we have become friends with them. Happy Anniversary you two!
Jess and Josh’s Wedding
June 27, 2008 – 6:20 am
I have already posted some of the gorgeous Jess last week, but here are more as promised. The day started at the Freedom Spa in York with hair and make-up, the light in the spa was very nice and we were able to make some great images of the girls. Josh’s family home was absolutely beautiful and it should be, his dad built it and owns Robert Reed Associates in York, Maine. The ceremony took place at the First Parish Church in York Village and the reception was at the York Harbor Reading Room(one of my favorite places in Maine). York Flower Shop provided the flowers and table arrangements and Confection Art of York made the cake with the mini version of their dog on it. The entire day was planned very well with lots of time for portraits and great dancing time, the music was expertly done by Greg Powers and he had them rocking all night long. They even did a great “Paradise by the dashboard lights” with girls on one side and guys on the other. Overall it was a fantastic day and Chris and I felt very lucky to be part of their celebration.
